Fish Capital Investments, LLC (“FCI,” or the “Manager”) was formed on September 4, 2018 under the laws of the state of Colorado. The Managing Member of FCI is Chris Ringenberg.
Fish Investments, LLC is the creation of Chris Ringenberg. Chris can best be described as an entrepreneurial real estate technologist. Chris has owned, managed, brokered, consulted and built software for real estate since 2001. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX with a BBA in Business Administration and BA in Economics in 1998. Chris is a third-generation Colorado native and has lived in Denver his entire life outside of his college years. Chris, his wife, and son call Westminster, CO home and extensively travel to their second home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. When not deep in real estate, Chris and his family can be found on the golf course, hiking and cycling or just soaking up the Colorado life.
Upon graduation from SMU in 1998, the imposing scare of Y2K was on the horizon and computer programmers were needed. This started Chris’ technology career, as he was recruited to Andersen Consulting/Accenture where he learned about and led large technology implementations in financial services. This is where Chris discovered his passion and understanding of technology, systems and analysis, which are institutions in his real estate endeavors.
In 2001, Chris left the consulting world and ventured out on his own. He acquired his real estate license and begin brokering residential real estate deals. He also found himself consulting other brokers on technology, systems and marketing and founded his first consulting company. During the next 10 years, Chris ran his consulting business, brokered real estate and created a number of small companies centered around real estate, supply-chain and technology.
Chris wanted more experience at this level and he set his sights on working for Prologis (PLD), the world’s largest industrial Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). By joining a local management consulting firm in Denver, Chris’ first assignment was at Prologis in creating a new operating model for their Global Customer Solutions group. Within one-year Chris lead the team to a new operating model and new key metrics to measure the effectiveness of this group. With the success of the project, Chris was recruited to become an employee and the Director of Operations. After one year in that group he was recruited to start a new business systems group where he received the title of Vice President, Strategic Business Systems. In this new role Chris lead the design and development of custom software to support the analysis of Leasing and Capital Deployment decisions and processing of deals.
In 2018, Chris’ had been around the world multiple times over and he decided that it was time for another shift to spend more time with his family and get back to his passion of being an entrepreneur. Chris met up with his old Property Management partner and they decided to create a brokerage team, The Biller Ringenberg Real Estate Group, to promote, coach and inspire real estate agents. At the same time, Chris also created Fish Capital Investments, LLC to put his real estate experience, knowledge and passion to work for investors, friends and family who want to create wealth through real estate investment.
